SEASONAL PROGRAMS TOTS (2-6)
TINY TOTS (2–3)
5-week program: Introduce your little ones to the sport of skiing in a fun and safe environment! Our instructors and daycare team will teach the basics of ski equipment, mobility, and beginner skiing skills through games and fun activities. Lessons take place in the Mountain Kids Courtyard. Our goal will be to have tots on the teaching carpet by the end of the program. Includes rentals and hot chocolate. Please note: This is not a parent-participation program.

FREERIDE
10-week program: The Freeride Program promotes the development of all-mountain skiing and riding by combining elements of freestyle, race and general improvement strategies. Every Saturday or Sunday your child will be grouped with the same instructor to allow for awesome skill progression and tons of fun. Lunch is supervised, the Lunch add-on can be purchased as an additional option
SEASONAL PROGRAMS - CHILDREN (7-12)
VI RIDERS (SNOWBOARD ONLY)
10-week program: VI Riders is a freestyle development program for snowboarders. The focus is on learning new tricks and mastering the fundamentals of snowboarding. Riders will work on all-mountain skills and spend time learning tricks in the terrain park. Rider development is of a freestyle nature and training is in a fun, confidence-building atmosphere. Riders must be Ability Level 3+. Lunch is supervised, the Lunch add-on can be purchased as an additional option.

5-week program: This program promotes the development of all-mountain skiing and riding by combining elements of freestyle and general improvement strategies. Meet new skiing and riding buddies while working with the same pro gives you the opportunity to learn something new each week, as you develop your technique through exercises and guided mileage. Adults are grouped by ability level and first-timers are welcome
CAMPS & SPECIALTY PROGRAMS
MOUNTAIN KIDS HOLIDAY CAMP (TOTS 4–6 SKI/5-6 BOARD, CHILD 7–12)
Join the Mountain Kids Ski and Snowboard Camp during the Christmas holidays, Family Day Weekend or Spring Break! This three-day camp focuses on skill development through fun, games, and exercises. Mornings are spent working on skills, while the afternoon consists of games and fun activities on the snow. For all ability levels. Includes: Three full days of lessons and supervised lunch
CAMPS & SPECIALTY PROGRAMS
PARK CAMP (CHILD 7–12, YOUTH 13–17, ADULTS 18+)
Looking to hone your skills in the park? Let our pros teach you the basic of jumping and safe landings in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Includes: Two full days of lessons and supervised lunch. Participants must be Ability Level 3+.
WOMEN’S WEEK (19+
Enjoy our Women’s Week packages and special aprés all week long. A women-only program taught and designed especially for women. Women of similar abilities
are grouped into small classes to meet new friends and re-visit old ones as you improve your skiing and riding technique.
After a morning of fun on the slopes, our pros will escort you to a delicious meal from our Food and Beverage staff. For all ability levels. Includes: All-day lift ticket, a 2-hour women-only lesson from 10am to noon, and a delicious lunch from our Food and Beverage crew
WOMEN’S ESCAPE CAMP (19+)
Presented by Helly Hansen - all camp participants receive a HH toque, swag and more daily prize draws!
Have you always wanted to venture off piste but lacked the confidence? Or are you wanting to take your skiing or riding to the next level in a fun and supportive environment? Then this is the camp for you! A “Women Only” camp taught by our top talented female pros. Women of similar abilities will be grouped together for a fun and memorable weekend on the slopes. Includes: 5.5 hours of instruction each day, and a delicious lunch from our food and beverage crew.
The Ability Guide

Know before you go! Prepare to make the most of your time with us on the snow.- Allow a minimum of 1.25 hours between your arrival in the resort or departing your condo and the lesson start time (i.e. for a 9 am lesson, plan to arrive by 8 am).
- If you already have equipment please proceed directly to the outdoor lesson meeting areas. If you require a pass please visit the Ticket Windows outside of the Alpine Lodge.
- You are responsible for supervising your child (4+ years) prior to meeting the instructor on the snow 10 minutes prior to the scheduled lesson start time.
- Please be aware that all lessons start promptly at the scheduled start time regardless of weather conditions or reduced lift operations. There are no refunds for missed lessons.
- Consider checking in the night before! On nights that the resort is open for night skiing, you are welcome to visit us in the Experience Centre until 8 pm.
- You are responsible for supervising your child (4yr +) prior to meeting the instructor on the snow 10 minutes prior to the scheduled lesson start time.
- Please be aware that all lessons start promptly at the scheduled start time regardless of weather conditions or reduced lift operations. There are no refunds for missed lessons.
- You are responsible for meeting your child in the assigned meeting place outside Mountain Kids. Mount Washington is responsible for supervising your child during scheduled lesson times only. Tots will not be released on their own and you may be charged for additional care.
Lesson Cancellation Policy
- All lessons must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Lessons can be cancelled or rescheduled more than 48 hours in advance. Please call the Snow School at 250-338-1386 ext. 384 or email cancellations@mountwashington.ca.
- There are no refunds or changes allowed within 48 hours of the lesson time unless due to a medical issue or illness.
- No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.
- Guests who are late for their lessons will not be able to join. We will do our best to rebook for later that day.
