Here in the Comox Valley, locals find reprieve from the alright wet-coast summer and take things higher. 1588 metres above sea level higher, to be exact. Boasting one of Vancouver Island's longest Zipline experiences, the only lift-accessed Bike Park, hiking trails to the top of Mount Washington and Strathcona Provincial Park with trailheads at Raven Lodge, summer scenic chairlift rides with ocean and glacier views, Mount Washington is Vancouver Island's coastal playground. In the summer months enjoy the Marmot's Playground centrally located near the alpine lodge in front of our Eagle chairlift. Our playground features a large play area with swings, lawn games, climbing and other activities available for children and the young at heart.

From the top of Eagle Chair, purchase Scenic Chairlift Access or ride free as a Mountain Pass Holder. 11 Hole Black Diamond course for advanced players leads you down to the Whiskey Jack Chair & 7 Hole Blue course for novice players stays higher up the mountain for an easier hike. Steep rocky gradients on ski runs, spotter recommended on downhill holes. We Are Now Closed

Thanks for another memorable season with us here at Mount Washington Alpine Resort. We are now closed for the winter 2023/24 season, reopening for summer activities in mid-June 2024. All mountain slopes and terrain are officially closed to the public; for everyone's safety, please avoid trespassing as our teams actively work with machinery around the mountain on end-of-season projects. Thanks for your cooperation! We can't wait to see you this summer.
