Retro Day Ski Bum Bonanza & Fresh Snow in the Forecast!
Watch the Hot Lap with Mikey & Lou Angles!
With only 5 weeks left in the season, now’s the time to get your laps in while winter is still delivering. The forecast is calling for fresh snow to keep on coming, and this weekend’s event lineup makes it an easy decision to turn a quick ski day into a full mountain experience.
Sneak in some cheeky after-work laps with Thrifty Thursday Nights, featuring BOGO lift tickets and baskets of fries for Music Bingo. Roll into Family Friday Nights with discounted lift tickets, live music in Ted’s Bar with Shot Gun Kelly, and family-sized poutine on special.
This Saturday, March 14, we’re throwing it back for Retro Day: Ski Bum Bonanza. Dig out your brightest and tightest one-piece, vintage goodies, and old-school style for a day dedicated to classic ski culture. At Ted’s Bar & Grill, we have a retro menu on special this Saturday only—all food for just $5—and DJ Saskatoon Tod is spinning records all afternoon, so bring your dance moves and a few vintage stories to swap over après. The standard Ted’s menu will also still be available per usual.
Looking for a slower Saturday pace? Head to the peaceful Nordic Centre at Raven Lodge for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, then head inside to enjoy live music with Tereza Tomak from 2–4 pm, before settling in for an evening of Fondue (advanced reservations required).
With Terrain Park events hosted by BC Snowboard and plenty more happening across the mountain, it’s shaping up to be a weekend worth planning for. Purchase lift tickets in advance to save, ensure your vehicle is equipped for variable road conditions, and please carpool whenever possible to reduce traffic volumes. We can’t wait to see you out on the snow!
P.S. Want to make a full ski bum weekend out of it? Slopeside Ski & Stay packages are still available any day the rest of this season at incredible savings, and kids 12 & under ski free.
