Group lessons are a great way to learn with others of similar ability. Classes are kept small, and instructors are trained to deal with varying abilities so that the learning environment is kept fun and active. All group lessons are 2.5 hours in length for Tot & Child (4 to 7) and 2 hours in length for Youth (13-18) and Adult (19+) lessons.

Skiing or snowboarding is more than just an activity; it’s a full-day mountain experience. That’s what makes it so special and why we think everyone deserves to give it a try! For anyone ages 13+ who has never skied or snowboarded before, learn FREE** this winter with Discovery Days. This package includes a 2-hour beginner lesson, a full-day Easy Acres lift ticket, and equipment rentals. Advanced booking is required.

Reservations are strongly encouraged. Please go online to mountwashington.ca to book or call (250) 338-1386 ext 384, to speak with a lesson specialist. Class sizes are limited to ensure fun and safety

Know before you go! Prepare to make the most of your time with us on the snow.

• Allow a minimum of 1.25 hours between your arrival in the resort or departing your condo and the lesson start time (i.e. for a 9 am lesson, plan to arrive by 8 am).
• If you already have equipment please proceed directly to the outdoor lesson meeting areas. If you require a pass please visit the Ticket Windows outside of the Alpine Lodge.
• You are responsible for supervising your child (4+ years) prior to meeting the instructor on the snow 10 minutes prior to the scheduled lesson start time.
• Please be aware that all lessons start promptly at the scheduled start time regardless of weather conditions or reduced lift operations. There are no refunds for missed lessons.
• Consider checking in the night before! On nights that the resort is open for night skiing, you are welcome to visit us in the Experience Centre until 8 pm.
• You are responsible for supervising your child (4yr +) prior to meeting the instructor on the snow 10 minutes prior to the scheduled lesson start time.
• Please be aware that all lessons start promptly at the scheduled start time regardless of weather conditions or reduced lift operations. There are no refunds for missed lessons.
• You are responsible for meeting your child in the assigned meeting place outside Mountain Kids. Mount Washington is responsible for supervising your child during scheduled lesson times only. Tots will not be released on their own and you may be charged for additional care.

• Guests who are late for their lessons will not be able to join. We will do our best to rebook for later that day.
• For camps and seasonal programs there are no refunds or changes allowed after day 1, unless due to medical issue or illness.

Season Pass Auto-Renewal! This offering is the ideal way to automatically get the best rate on your season pass. It’s easy and convenient and will ensure you do not miss a sale deadline. Note: any other add-on products (Locker, Bus Season Rental, Refundable Option, etc.) selected will automatically auto-renew, if you want to change any add-ons, you will need to cancel auto-renew and repurchase.

If you opted into the auto-renewal feature when purchasing a 2024/25 season pass, you will be charged for your 2025/26 season pass around March 24, 2025 – please check your emails. Unless you have aged up to a new tier of season pass and need to repurchase. Auto-renew is the best way for pass holders to be automatically guaranteed the lowest prices and maximum benefits!

• No cost to apply; choose this add-on option through the online purchase process of your season pass, and you are signed up to auto-renew in the following season.
• You will receive an email when the following year’s season pass rates are announced, and you have the option to continue with the auto-renewal or opt-out. We will email you an additional email that we will charge your card on file.
• The slope liability agreement that you electronically signed will be valid for up to 3 years if you continue to auto-renew. After 3 years, we will prompt you to re-sign the agreement electronically.
• If a season pass holder is moving age brackets (ie. a youth turns 19), they will need to be moved into the next age bracket and charged the pass price accordingly. Auto-renew will be cancelled, and you will need to repurchase for the new age bracket. Auto-renew can be selected again to continue getting the lowest price each season (until the next big milestone birthday!)

Q1: I’m not sure if I signed up for auto-renewal last year when I purchased my 24/25 season pass; how can I check? Can I still cancel auto-renew?

A1: Please sign in to your account at: https://mountwashington.ltibooking.com/ to review details about your purchase. If you would like to cancel the auto-renew charge, please do so in your account before March 23, 2025

Q2: How can I change my payment information for the auto-renew transaction?

A2: Guests who need to update payment details for their credit card on file for auto-renew will need to contact our online store partner, Catalate, to securely provide new details over the phone at +1 (855) 938-2006. Requests can also be emailed to [email protected], but your private details should only be shared over the phone.

Q3: How do I go about selecting the auto-renewal option? And is it just valid for the 25/26 season into the 26/27 season, or will it continue to auto-renew year-after-year?

A3: If the auto-renewal option is chosen as an add-on in the checkout path, your season pass will be renewed without the action needed for years to come. If you do not want to auto-renew at any time, we need it in writing, and we can withdraw you from the program. This is the only way to be automatically guaranteed the lowest price!

Q4: How can I change details for my auto-renew transaction?

A4: Short answer, you can’t. Your Season Pass renewal will include all the same optional add-on experiences you selected for the prior season, such as Lockers, Seasonal Bus Passes or Refundable Insurance, ensuring you receive the best available add-on rates. If you need to change any of your optional add-ons, you will need to cancel the auto-renew and repurchase.

Gold Pass Description

Our crème de la crème Gold Winter Season Pass includes unlimited access throughout the 2025/26 season with no need to reserve your ski days as you would with single-day lift tickets. Alpine Pass Description

7-day-a-week pass with alpine skiing and riding from 9 am to 3:30 pm any day of the 2025/26 season.

Midweek Pass Description

Monday to Friday access throughout the 2025/26 season with unlimited access mid-week to alpine and Nordic, and night skiing on Friday nights. No blackout dates!

College University Student Pass Description

Unlimited 7-day-a-week skiing or boarding with no blackout dates! Includes access to alpine, night and Nordic skiing! Eligibility is limited to full-time college or university students aged 18-64 who are currently enrolled at an accredited institution and provide valid ID (proof of full-time enrollment during the winter season is required). Includes Gold Pass Xtra benefits.

Requirements: To qualify for a Mount Washington discounted college/university pass, we require documentation to show you are a full-time student in an accredited College or University. A timetable or letter from the accredited school showing full-time enrollment details for the period from December 2025 to April 2026. Documents will also need to show that this is full-time studies with 12+ credits/per term.

Night Pass Description

NEW for 2025/26, Night Skiing will now operate Thursday to Saturday nights, and some special holidays! Enjoy unlimited skiing and riding under the stars anytime Night Skiing is open during the winter season, including daily over the Christmas Holidays, plus the occasional special Sunday. Seasonal night hours are Thursday to Saturday from 3:30 pm – 9 pm starting December 18th, 2025.

Military Discounted Pass Description

Unlimited 7-day-a-week skiing or boarding with no blackout dates! Includes access to alpine, night and Nordic skiing! Eligibility includes active and veteran Canadian military individuals (not family members) with verified ID. Includes Gold Pass Xtra benefits, proof of military status required.

Super Senior Description

If you are 75+, you’ve earned your turns for FREE!
$35 admin fee will be applied and only available in person at the mountain.

Tot Pass Description

If you are 6 and under your pass is FREE!
$35 admin fee will be applied and only available in person at the mountain.

Nordic Pass Description

7-day-a-week Nordic Pass during the 2025/26 season with unlimited access to XC and snowshoe trails.

Snowshoe Pass Description

Unlimited outdoor adventures on the Snowshoe Trails all season long.

Family Pass Description

Purchase three or more Gold, Alpine or Nordic passes for an additional 10% family pass discount. A Family Pass is defined as a group consisting of three or more members who reside in the same household, with at least one parent, and children under 19 or full-time students with valid ID.

SOLD OUT – Seasonal Alpine Rental Add-On | Starting at $284 April 15th – Sept. 1st only
Rent once for the entire season, save time and money. Seasonal rentals include ski boots, poles, snowboard boots, and bindings. Limited quantities are available, so book your seasonal rental soon.

Season Rental Damage Waiver Add-On | $25.00
The damage waiver covers the cost of minor repairs that may occur. It DOES not cover damage caused by negligent or reckless skiing or boarding.
Furthermore, it DOES NOT cover loss and/or theft of the gear.

SOLD OUT – Seasonal Shuttle Bus Add-On | $199 prior to April 11 | TBA April 12 onward
Mount Washington Alpine Resort has a Ski & Ride Shuttle Bus available December-April to everyone travelling to and from the Comox Valley to Mount Washington on a daily basis during the winter ski season. Pickup and drop-off locations are located throughout the Comox Valley, and no advance reservations are required when you purchase this add-on with your winter alpine or Nordic season pass.

Alpine Season Pass Refundable Option Add-On | $44
Refunds will be calculated based on the window ticket price, per number of days left before breakeven. Example: Early Bird Adult Gold Pass scanned 5 times, 4 days remaining = refund $454. Refunds are only given if the Refund Option is purchased and supporting documentation has been provided to the pass office.. A $50 admin fee applies to process refunds. The Refund Option allows you to receive a pro-rated refund of your season pass for the following reasons: Medical – An injury or illness which prevents the use of the pass for the duration of the season. The refund is not applicable for interim injury or illness. Employment Transfer – A transfer by the pass holder’s current employer requiring a change of residence off Vancouver Island and surrounding islands. The refund is not applicable for voluntarily leaving the area for work or travel. A related pass holder is applying for a refund – If one member of a family discount group is eligible for a refund, the other members of that family discount group are also eligible, provided each applicant also purchased the refundable pass option By not selecting this product, you forfeit any claim to refund for this season pass.

Refundable Option Description

Season passes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Refunds are only available if the Refundable Pass option was purchased at the time of sale, and only in cases of illness or injury or relocation due to employment, with current supporting documentation.

If the refundable option was not purchased, we are unable to issue a refund.

• Illness or Injury: A current, up-to-date doctor’s note confirming injury or illness (Please note that MRI reports, radiology or laboratory reports, and prescriptions are not accepted as official documentation.)
• Employment-Related Relocation: Proof of relocation off-island due to employment
