Thrilling DH & Legendary Community Vibes…This Labour Day Weekend is all about BIKES! Registration for the Canada Cup Stevie Smith Memorial Race is now LIVE; get ready to tackle the gnarly Monster Mile trail! #longlivechainsaw 

All are welcome to join us for an epic VI Bike Fest Weekend presented by Forbidden Bike Co. & Comox Valley Toyota! From high-stakes racing, to the crowd-favourite Forbidden Whip Off and more spectator action, it’s the ultimate long weekend send-off to summer. We’re even throwing a Sunday night patio party following the podium awards to send off the season in style.

Spectators

All are welcome to visit the mountain and watch or join in to be part of the action over this exciting weekend! VI Bike Festival invites the enthusiasts, the casual cyclists, the curious and the energetic to partake in activities and events all throughout the weekend. The Bike Park, Zipline Tours, Sightseeing and more attractions are open and ongoing throughout race festivities. The second annual Whip Off presented by Forbidden Bikes is Saturday evening, featuring a beer garden and tunes from a local DJ 6-8pm. Sunday is the main event, the annual Stevie Smith Memorial DH Race, and spectators are encouraged to cheer on racers tackling the gnarly Monster Mile trail.

Interested in volunteering in exchange for a free bike park lift ticket (to use another time), free lunch, free t-shirt, apres beverage, and a day full of good vibes together? Rugged With Limited Services

Overnight camping during the summer at Mount Washington Alpine Resort is permitted only in designated parking areas, offering a convenient free option for self-contained RV units. While there are no services such as power or water hookups available, campers visiting The Bike Park can stay overnight in the Hawk Parking Lot throughout the summer season. For special events like the Washy Mountain Music Fair or the VI Bike Fest Canada Cup, overnight camping is relocated to Lot 4. Overnight parking is never permitted in Lots 1, 2 or 3. Visitors are encouraged to come prepared, as only fully self-contained vehicles are suitable for these camping areas.
