Bear’s Den Daycare
The Bear’s Den Daycare is a supervised indoor playtime for tots aged 18 months to 5 years old. Our daycare staff create a fun and safe environment for your tots with games, toys, and crafts in our licensed facility.
The Bear’s Den Daycare is open weekends from June 27 to September 6, 10am – 5pm, and is located on the lower floor of the Rossignol Experience Centre.

Parents or guardians must present the following, as required for our Childcare License, which is issued by the Vancouver Island Health Authority:
- Proof of medical coverage (MSP number or Travel insurance documents)
- Immunization history
- Emergency contact number
- A recent photo of your child for our records.
- Doctors name and telephone number
*Please note: As per our occasional child care license, children are only allowed to be in care for a maximum of 4 days per calendar month.

Daycare Cancellation Policy
- All daycare bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Daycare can be cancelled or rescheduled more than 48 hours in advance. Please call the usl at 250-338-1386 ext. 384 or email Cancellations
- No refunds or changes are allowed within 48 hours of the lesson time unless due to medical issues or illness.
- No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.
Daycare Hours
Full-day program includes lunch, beverages, and snacks. AM and PM slot programs include snacks and beverages. Hourly drop-in is available on the hour — pre-booking is recommended to ensure availability.
