The Kids of Mount Washy Take Over Family Day Weekend Events!

This Family Day Weekend, we’re handing the mountain over to the Washy families.

Mike started by asking around to the mountain staff what we should do for Family Day... Then the kids showed up with some very strong opinions. After a short meeting, a few snack-based negotiations, and a boardroom full of small voices asking for free candy and skiing, Mike caved (it didn't take much, honestly).

From Friday, February 13th to Tuesday, February 17th, kids 12 & under ski for FREE at Mount Washington. It turns out these Washy kids made a pretty convincing case for more family time, more laps on Whiskey Jack Chair and the carpets, and fewer reasons to decide if it’s worth it or not (a day in the mountains is always worth it).

To celebrate Family Day, we’re keeping things fun and will be giving away free fresh-baked cookies from Saturday to Monday, throwing a Family Rail Jam in the Terrain Park on Sunday, plus a Free Family Discovery Day on Monday. Mix in some Olympic action with on-mountain events to win prizes and Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Games viewings available on the big screen TV's in Buck's Bar, plus Valentine’s Day love on Saturday (including a 19+ comedy night), and your mountain weekend is made. With colder temperatures in the forecast and plenty of events to get amongst, this Family Day Weekend at Mount Washington will be one to remember. This weekend, it's all about the families at Mount Washington. From Friday, February 13th until Tuesday, February 17th, kids 12 & under ski for free! Celebrate the Family Day Weekend with us in the mountains and spend time on the snow with your loved ones.
