A look back through December 2024 and the first week of January 2025.
530 cm Cumulative Snowfall So Far This Winter Season at Mount Washington!
January 7, 2025
Now that the holidays are done and Mother Nature is on a break between delivering storm cycles, we're looking back at one of the mountain's busiest and snowiest holiday periods in the last while. We've already received over 530 cm of cumulative snowfall this season, welcoming a steep increase in visitation as folks from across Vancouver Island and beyond came to partake in the goods.

We've said it before, but it always rings true; with big snowfall comes big responsibility for our community. Our staff work tirelessly to manage the snow as it falls and to keep the metaphorical and literal wheels turning all around the resort. It is not without challenges, so kudos to the crew for all their hard work during the holidays! We truly appreciate everyone visiting for doing their part to follow safe practices, cooperate with our team, and respect your fellow adventurers. Your attention and understanding are invaluable, from your journey here to your time out exploring the slopes, so thank you. We're all in it together.
Can you believe it was only just one month ago that we opened early?! So much of the 2024/25 winter season still remains to be explored. Let's get after it, folks!
