for Adaptive Snowsports

VISAS is back to seven day per week programming and will offer a full season of lessons forecast to start late December going through late March. We can work this season with any student who is in compliance with the CADS Vaccination Policy. Your Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Snowsports Board of Directors is working hard behind the scenes to prepare for the season. Registrations for Students will open the first week of November. Returning Students will have received an email, New Students will be able to create a profile by clicking on the BOOK NOW button.

Mount Washington Adaptive Program

Mt. Washington is proud to be the home of the Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Snowsports. VISAS is a non-profit charitable society focused on providing nationally certified snowsports instruction to the physically or developmentally challenged.

Adventure for All

Mt. Washington provides space is the Alpine Lodge for VISAS to call home as well as accommodating them at the Raven Lodge located in the Nordic area. Along with providing subsidized student lift tickets and equipment rental for VISAS participants, Mt. Washington also have trained and responsive staff to assist students on and off lifts if necessary.
