Be mindful of early season conditions, have fun!
Our 22/23 season has ramped up quickly, and thanks to the much-needed snowfall over opening weekend, most frontside alpine terrain is now open for skiing and riding. Be mindful of early season conditions and snow hazards that exist, and respect all closures and roped areas. Thanks for your patience on further terrain opening as we wait for more snow to fall!
The Nordic Centre at Raven Lodge is also open on the Mt. Washington side for cross-country and snowshoeing, with the Strathcona Park trails planned to open soon with more snowfall.
Night skiing starts this Friday, December 16th, with lifts running daily 9 am to 9 pm until Sunday, January 1st. During the holidays, we have holly jolly fun happening in the mountains every day, including photo opportunities with Santa and Ms. Claus, daily après entertainment in Ted's, traditions like our Boxing Day Torchlight parade and of course, family and 19+ New Year's Eve celebrations to ring in 2023 together.

It was awesome to see everyone out in force for the pre-season Stokefest events in downtown Courtenay. We asked and you answered what you're most stoked for at Mount Washington this upcoming season and well... watch and see the local stoke for yourself! Huge thanks to ROAM Media, all the event partners and the local ski community for making the pre-season magic happen.

/ Bike Park 2022 Recap
Last Day of the Season is Sunday, September 25th
Thanks for another great summer season in the Mount Washington Bike Park! The late snow got us off to a slower than anticipated start on the trails, but our Trail Crew worked hard to get the full park open in no time offering stellar July and August riding conditions and tons of fun bike community events to participate in. We're already gearing up momentum for the next bike season, but until then, join us this weekend for our final summer 2022 operations.
The Bike Park is open Saturday & Sunday from 10 am - 4:30 pm
Monster Mile off the Eagle Chair requires full-face helmets.
On Sunday, September 25th, stop by our booth on the patio from 11am - 4pm for a free Bike Park Pass Holder lunch on us! Simply have your pass ready and select your choice of burger, hot dog or veggie burger with a beverage. Thanks again for all the fun times out on the trails this summer, we hope to see you around this winter season! This is the final weekend of Bike Park operations.

A peace dance in the mountains was shared in the summer of 2020 by the Kumugwe Cultural Society. Through sharing the songs and dances of the K’omoks and Kwakwaka’wakw peoples, the Kumugwe Dancers are able to help facilitate respect and understanding within the local community and communities abroad.
