Join us for Tapped, Mount Washington's annual beer festival, on Friday, July 3. This year's event includes a variety of craft breweries providing samples, a beer seminar, live music and a pig roast (additional $20) and/or a BBQ (available at an extra charge) that is served in the Raven courtyard. Enjoy it all while soaking in the beautiful mountain views overlooking Strathcona Provincial Park.
A Beer Seminar will take place outside in the courtyard of Raven Lodge around 6:45pm by Jeff Lucas, Cascadia Liquor Store.
Jeff will be hosting a half hour session during Tapped. He brings 12 years of experience directly from the beer world and recently he has helped fuelled the local explosion of craft beer as the General Manager of Cascadia Liquor Store Courtenay. He keeps the craft beer wall revolving with a multitude of styles, flavours and hop levels. He has completed both his Prud’homme and Cicerone level 1 certification.
Tapped tickets are $30 and include 8 sample tickets as well as live entertainment by Luke Blu Guthrie.
A shuttle from Courtenay is available for $10 round trip. Pick up is at 5:15 pm and drop off at 10 pm at A&W on Cliffe Ave in Courtenay.
Festival tickets can also be purchased online or at Cascadia Liquor store in the Thrifty Foods Plaza. Package includes: Pig Roast, Entrance and Bus Transportation.
