Position: Snow school supervisor

Reports to: Assistant snow school managers


Primary Objectives:


To coordinate all ski and snowboard lessons/programs within the Mount Washington Snow School.  This includes, and is not limited to; delegating staff assignments through data base management, supervision and organization of Groups business, scheduling all staff, organizing lead hands within your area, assisting in training, enforcing all rules, regulations and policies of Mount Washington and be responsible for the daily operation of the Snow School that meets both guests expectations as well as revenue and labour costs targets.




  • Communicate with and organize all ski and snowboard pros, and adjust staff levels based on business volume
  • Organizing lesson meeting place and delegate lesson assignments, in a manner that meets revenue and labour cost targets
  • Monitor staff levels in Sirius Ware
  • Assign Greeters, Group greeters, Terrain set up and rentals on a daily basis
  • Management of Schedule with Snow School Administrator
  • Making sure area protocol is adhered to with respect to on snow operations
  • Monitoring all lessons this includes leading training sessions, shadowing lessons and documentation
  • Perform LUG (Line up guy) duties
  • Check and organize all school groups for the day
  • Conduct and/or attend 8:10 meeting, take attendance, bring up new business, plan of the day, communicate info with dispatch area and sales area
  • Attend daily 7:30am/7:45am meeting and weekly departmental meeting
  • Complete and submit pay-roll in the absence of the snow school administrator
  • Adhere to all policies within the Rossignol Experience Centre Supervisor Manual
  • Deal with customer care issues
  • Ensure that Program Leads are on task and have the information needed to do their jobs



  • Must be at least Level 3 CSIA or CASI certified. Course Conductor experience an asset
  • Must have at least 5 seasons teaching experience
  • Must be available from end of November until middle of April




The Snow School Supervisor is expected to adhere to the policies of the Snow School and Mount Washington.  Your role will be dictated by the time of the year.
