Seasonal Winter Full Time: Tube Park Operator 

Reports To: Tube Park Supervisor

First Year Operator: $12.65/hr

Tube Park Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the Tube Park. Their job is to have fun, work as a team, and ensure that the customers are safe and happy. You will work through various jobs during the day from ticket checking, loading and unloading guests on the conveyor lift, pushing guests down the tubing lanes and lane clearer. As an operator you will play a key role in providing a positive experience and exceeding guests expectations from adults to children to groups. A passion for working outdoors and enjoying everything that the alpine environment has to offer is a must. This position is suited to those who may not have a lot of snowboard or ski experience, are looking to learn or want to get their foot in the door to the ski industry.

It is important to know that most of a Tube Operators time is spent outdoors working in all weather conditions from uneven snow surface to snow, sun, extreme cold and wind and it requires you to be on your feet for the majority of your scheduled shift. Please be aware the position also involves working around straw.

  • Must be able to maintain a calm, friendly manner under busy periods.

  • Previous customer service experience favorable but not required.

  • Enjoy working with the public and all age groups.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Must work well in a team environment and be a team player.

  • Be available for full-time work including weekends.

  • Be available to work major holidays including Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Years Day and Spring Break.

  • Be able to stay and work for the full winter season (Late November-Mid April).


  • Maintain a high level of customer service and assist guests in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner.

  • Assist with set up and tare down of the tube park e.g. maze gates, crash pads, snow removal, straw, and fencing.

  • Safe operation of the tube park and conveyor lift.

  • Safely send guests down the tubing lanes.

  • Maintain a safe run out (stopping area at the end of the lanes).

  • Validate all guest’s tickets and ensure no misuse.

  • Maintain load and unload ramps of the conveyor lift, this will help with guest safety. 

  • Be punctual, arrive at work alert, fit to work and ready to work.

  • Maintain a respectable level of personal appearance and care for your issued uniform.

  • Additional duties required by one of the Tube Park Supervisors and Lift Operations Supervisors.

  • Keep a positive upbeat attitude while at work. If you're having fun they will be having fun. 


Due to the operational hours of the tube park, we ask you to sign a variance that allows you to work up to 10 hrs at a regular rate of pay while giving you the benefit of 3 days off while still working full-time hours! Please note due to the nature of the tube park we cannot always guarantee 10 hr shifts.
