WELCOME TO SUMMER AT MOUNT WASHINGTON

The mountain is now closed Monday to Friday, open only on Saturdays and Sundays throughout September until October 1st. Join us for weekends in The Bike Park or ZipTour and Scenic Chair experiences while summer turns into fall. See hours of operation here.

Winter RV Parking

Sunrise Parking

There is a location available at the Sunrise parking lot for those wishing to park overnight with self-contained RV units on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no water, sewer or power available and no charge to park. Maximum stay is two (2) nights. Please be aware snow clearing can occur day or night, and all vehicles must be prepared to relocate when required.

Nordic Parking

There is a location available at the Nordic parking lot for those wishing to park overnight for Strathcona Park Users on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests who wish to use this area must register with staff at Raven lodge and be shown where they can park. Please be aware snow clearing can occur day or night, and all vehicles must be prepared to relocate when required.

Resort Parking Areas

Base Parking Area

Parking is available for guests and staff at the base of Mount Washington Alpine Resort, this parking area is conveniently positioned 2 km's west of the Hwy 19 and Strathcona Parkway intersection. Park your car and take the Mount Washington Shuttle Bus to and from the Alpine Lodge

Bus Schedule information

Mount Washington Alpine Resort has a Ski & Ride Shuttle Bus available December-April to everyone travelling to and from the Comox Valley to Mount Washington on a daily basis during the winter ski season. Pickup and drop off locations are located throughout the Comox Valley, and no advance reservations are required.

FAQs

How old does my child need to be in order to ride the lifts?

Tots 3+ are permitted to Ride the Eagle chairlift Scenic Chairlift ride provided the child must be able to aid in self-rescue in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Children 6+ are permitted to Ride in the Bike Park provided the child must be able to aid in self-rescue in the unlikely event of an emergency as well as being a competent rider, and having a bike that meets all our requirements.
