Planes, ferry boats and automobiles... There are many ways to get to Mount Washington, whether you're a local or coming from off Vancouver Island! Mount Washington Alpine Resort is located approximately a 30-minute drive from the Comox-Valley and Campbell River, and 1.5 hours from Nanaimo where the Departure Bay ferry from North Vancouver is located. Mt. Washington Alpine Resort is located 30 mins north of the Comox Valley on beautiful Vancouver Island. We are easily accessible via Highway 1 and through the Comox International Airport.

& other shuttle providers
Mount Washington Alpine Resort has a Ski & Ride Shuttle Bus available December-April to everyone travelling to and from the Comox Valley to Mount Washington on a daily basis during the winter ski season. Pickup and drop off locations are located throughout the Comox Valley, and no advance reservations are required.

With our snow instructors by your side, the entire mountain is an ideal training ground for all levels of skier and riders; our adventurous blue runs, tucked-away glades, and wide-open powder-filled bowls all have propelled athletics to achieve their goals - including Olympic gold medal wins.

Day and Night Lift Operations
Our lift status is updated each morning as they open in real-time. We will update as needed throughout the day and night when lifts are closed, delayed, or are scheduled for maintenance and other needs.

Thanks for a great summer of biking, hiking and ziplining together! Mount Washington Alpine Resort is now closed for the season.
