Mt Washington DH Cup Race #1

The Island Cup Series is BC’s premier grassroots mountain bike race series. Cross Country, Downhill, Enduro, and Marathon disciplines are brought together through numerous local mountain bike organizations.

If you’re a first-timer, seasoned pro, or just out to have some fun, everyone is welcome to experience mountain bike racing on Vancouver Island. 

The Vancouver Island DH is back at the Mt. Washington Bike Park! Manicured berms, jumps, and fun tech will ensure this fun race will have you grinning ear-to-ear! Register today.

• Race Itinerary for Sunday, July  25^th:

  • 9:30-10:30
  • Plate pickup
  • 10:00am to 12:00pm
  • Course open for training
  • 12:00pm Beginner Start
  • Max 40 participants, starting from middle Helter Skelter off the road next to Greenline at mid mountain
  • 12:45pm Intermediate Start
  • Max 40 participants, starting from middle of Helter Skelter by Hawk Chair
  • 1:30pm Expert Start
  • Max 40 participants, starting from top of Helter Skelter by Hawk Chair
  • 2:30  pm
  • Awards on Social Media
• *** A Race license through BC Cycling is NOT needed for this event.
