Every Thursday evening January 11th -Feb 29th, from 7 pm to 9 pm we will be playing music trivia at Ted's Bar and Grill. Listen to clips of songs and match them to your card to win!

What is Music Bingo?

Music Bingo combines music trivia with the age-old format of bingo! It was created by Sean Constable in 1998. With the help of Lonny Bastien and Troy Rico whom Sean met in the YEP program (Young Entrepreneurs Program put on by the Canadian Government) Music Bingo is played in bars, pubs, legions, hotels, cruise ships, corporate parties and anywhere karaoke can be played.

What are the rules?

The rules of music bingo may vary from region to region depending on which company holds the Music Bingo rights. Digital Impact works with other DJs and companies that wish to provide the game in their area. For any venue running with the Digital Impact game the rules are as follows;
We award a prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place (in most cases) to the first person the host hears yell bingo that has a correct bingo.

Is there an age limit to play?

NO! If you can read, understand the lyrics or know your music you can play! In BC most venues are in bars where you have to be 19 or older to get in, but in Ontario, we are in many establishments that welcome children. In Courtney BC, Applebees will be starting Music Bingo in July 2011 and families with younger children will be able to play. We often bring children’s prizes or Toys R Us Gift certificates for kids to win instead of the usual venue gift certificates.

Do I have to pay to play?

NO NEVER. You should NEVER pay to play Music Bingo. The venue supplies Music Bingo to its patrons free of charge.
