If you have lost an item at Mount Washington Alpine Resort, there are several steps you can take to try and recover it.

Contact our customer service call centre or our lost & found department where we keep items that have been found on the slopes. Reach out to us and provide a detailed description of your lost item. We may be able to assist you in locating it.

Check online forums or social media groups where skiers and snowboarders can connect. You can post about your lost item and provide details to see if anyone has found it or has any information about it.

Don't forget to file a report with the lost and found department, if we are unable to locate your item at this time we will have a record, and should it turn up at a later date we can contact you. Provide us with all the relevant details, including the item's description, where and when you lost it, and any other pertinent information. Sometimes, it takes time for lost items to be found or for individuals to turn them in.

Catch up with members of the Mt. Washington Sustainability Committee on how we are putting our EcoValues into practice as a NSAA Sustainable Slope. As part of the Climate Challenge, we set a goal to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 10% over 6 years, and last year saved 3.8 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide, putting us well on our way to accomplish that goal by 2025.

Pets & Wildlife
at Mount Washington

The park has a large deer population and a significant number of Roosevelt elk while wolves and cougars, though present, are seldom seen. Resident birds include the chestnut-backed chickadee, red-breasted nuthatch, winter wren and kinglet, as well as the gray jay, Steller’s jay and band-tailed pigeon. The park also supports numerous blue grouse, ruffled grouse and a limited number of unique Vancouver Island white-tailed ptarmigan

FAQs

How old does my child need to be in order to ride the lifts?

Tots 3+ are permitted to Ride the Eagle chairlift Scenic Chairlift ride provided the child must be able to aid in self-rescue in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Children 6+ are permitted to Ride in the Bike Park provided the child must be able to aid in self-rescue in the unlikely event of an emergency as well as being a competent rider, and having a bike that meets all our requirements.
