Running & Hiking Trails

Our stunning alpine-to-ocean views make running the trails at Mt. Washington an incredible experience. From challenging vertical climbs to easy looping trails, Mt. Washington needs to be on your trail running bucket list.

Trail run Mount Washington and discover the unique flora and fauna found in our Mile High Alpine. Mount Washington is also the gateway to British Columbia's oldest and most picturesque park, Strathcona Provincial Park. The Paradise Meadows Trailhead located at the base of Mount Washington (1100m elevation) where you will find a wheelchair accessible boardwalk through alpine meadows and, for the more adventurous, multi-day trekking routes.

Run or Hike from the bottom, or take a Scenic Chairlift Ride to the summit (1588 m elevation). Interpretive signs identify the more distinct landmarks you can view along the self-guided tour on the easy bark mulch trails. You then have the opportunity to take the breathtaking chairlift ride back down or choose to hike a more rugged downhill trail to the base.

Please see the hiking trail map for approx travel time for each trail.
