Instructional Courses

Snow School at Mount Washington

Welcome to the Snow School at Mount Washington Alpine Resort. Our snow school has seen many changes over the last few years with one thing in mind....YOU, our customer. Our programs are dynamic and fun, the way skiing and riding is supposed to be. Whether you are a first time skier or rider or someone looking to brush up on their skills, we have something for you. The best part is all of our programs offer small class sizes, as recommended by the Canadian Ski Council, and extend lift line priority to you which means more time skiing and riding and less in line.

Burton at Mount Washington

Burton

The name Jake Burton goes back to the beginnings of snowboard design. Burton is the grand daddy of all snowboard companies. We carry a large line of EST bindings which compliments the Burton Channel System that is unique to their snowboards. Because of the popularity of the Burton binding, we carry the regular four hole plate so Burton bindings fit onto other makes of boards. A couple of the hot selling boots this year are the mens Driver X and the ladies Emerald. The Burton Custom has a long history and has been the mens flagship board while the Feelgood is one awsome shredder ladies board. Before purchasing your new snowboard package you have the opportunity to demo the Burton board, binding or boot of your choice.

Rossignol at Mount Washington

Rossignol

The French company Rossignol is one of the oldest and largest ski companies in the world. Rossignol is constantly striving for new innovative designs to allow the skier performance with less effort. The legendary S7 is known throughout the skiing community as the big mountain powder ski that has set the bar at heli-skiing resorts worldwide. The Ladies S3 complements this and is our biggest selling ladies powder ski. Rossignol uses the “Autoturn” technology in their beginner to advanced carving skis that allows the skier to initiate their turns with less effort and more control. This technology has helped encourage a faster learning curve for our beginner and intermediate customers. Come up and test drive some of our shops demo skis to see what Rossignol has to offer before you purchase a ski.
