With the first dusting of snow taking place this week, the reminder was not so subtle that winter is just around the corner. And for Mount Washington Alpine Resort, the timing was impeccable.
“The best way to experience the mountain this winter is with a season pass,” explains Season Pass Coordinator Maureen Thomson. “And the best pricing is right now with Early Bird rates lasting until September 30th.”
A season pass, bearing the name and photograph of its owner, is the most coveted item at snow resorts around the globe.
“It's more than just a piece of plastic,” explains spokesperson Brent Curtain. “That pass is your ticket to some of the happiest days of your winter. You can beat the winter blues by making turns on the winter white!”
Compared to buying day tickets, a Season Pass offers unbeatable value. The break-even for an Alpine Pass (full season, 7 days a week) is 14 days. For Midweek passholders, the break-even is a mere 7 days.
And if you think Mount Washington's Season Pass options are limited, think again! Beyond the traditional Gold, Alpine and Midweek offerings, you can find Student, Super Senior, Snowshoe, Cross Country and Night Passes.
“We have a pass for just about every type of snow slider,” says Thomson. “Night Passes are very economical and ideal for those who can't get away during the day; the Snowshoe Pass is perfect for one of the fastest growing winter activities in North America; and students and seniors get amazing deals as well.”
Families are also treated to significant discounts on all Mount Washington passes. Even a husband and wife combo sans children can save up to 15 percent off their purchase. Families with kids receive an additional 25 percent off their already discounted Early Bird purchase.
Once you're part of the season pass club, you enjoy exclusive access to winter deals. These include discounted tickets to snow resorts around BC and Washington State, plus a lineup of monthly specials that include lesson discounts, food discounts, even early lift openings!
The time is now to get the Early Bird rate for your season pass. September 30th is the cutoff date so don't delay if you want to have the best winter of your life!
