Snowmer II June 18-19 not
What better gift for pops than skiing or snowboarding in June! Thanks to last winter's unbelievable snowfall, we're bringing back Snowmer, the return of summer skiing at Mount Washington.
We're open for riding this Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm and tickets will be $25 per person (c'mon, Dad is worth it!). If you need rentals, those will be $25 per person as well. (plus tax of course)
We're spinning the Whiskey Jack Chairliftt, which will be ski-on/ski-off, and can confirm three runs for this weekend: Coaster, Whiskey Jack face and the Stomping Ground Terrain Park. The Park will have a few rails and booters setup for the summer session so bring your cameras and take some photos that will make your friends jealous!
The forecast is calling for sun with a few cloudy conditions on Saturday and mostly sunny skies on Sunday so pack your sunscreen. We're stoked about riding with you so we'll see you up here this weekend!
Summer Opening Day on July 1
Summer will arrive on the mountain, snow or no snow! On July 1, 2011 we're kicking off the summer season on the Eagle Express with Mile High Chairlift Rides. Bring visiting family and friends to the top of the mountain and show them one of the best views on the planet!
Bike Park Opens July 15
Mother Nature is finally agreeing to melt snow on our Bike Park so the plan is to open a handful of trails by July 15. We will be making some more announcements closer to our Bike Park opening day with respect to trail openings and snow...errr...trail conditions!
So what's new at the Mount Washington Bike Park this summer?
- New Green Line beginner trail
- Bearclaw Invitational Slopestyle returns after a two-year hiatus on August 5-6
- New lesson programs that include Learn to Ride for the family, the Ride On three-day program, and Kids Day Bike Camp
And that's just the beginning! Check out our new Bike Park map, all-new DirtPaks and more information on mountwashington.ca.
